Perch is a research instrument. It is not advice, not a broker, and not a prediction.

What Perch is

Perch is a research tool. It watches a fixed list of US equities on five-minute bars, notices when a bar is out of proportion to that name's own history, and describes the evidence in plain language. It also publishes its own track record, including the misses.

What Perch is not

• Not investment advice. Nothing Perch shows is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, and nothing is tailored to your situation.
• Not a broker. Perch never places orders and has no access to any brokerage account.
• Not a prediction. An observation says what already happened on the tape; the record shows how often such observations continued, and how often they did not.

Data and availability

Market data comes from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. The scanner runs during US market sessions and may pause for maintenance. Perch is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy or availability, during its beta.

Your account

You are responsible for the email address you sign in with. Do not share sign-in links. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to access data that is not theirs.
